 Lauren
Ramos studied dance at Chris Collins
Dance Studio for more than a dozen years, earning numerous awards and
commendations as a member of the studio’s performing Dance Company.
In 2001, Lauren began student
teaching at CCDS, in 2004 she also became an assistant dance teacher at West
Potomac Academy, and in 2005 Lauren officially joined the teaching staff at CCDS.
Continuing her dance education is
a priority for Lauren, who regularly participates in workshops. In 2009, she
completed level three of Dance Master’s of America’s Teacher’s Training School.
In recent years, she has also attended a number of master class programs,
participated in the Dance Theater of Harlem Residency Program at the Kennedy
Center and has studied with some of the nation’s top choreographers.
 She
is excited to be working with some of our young dancers and also assisting with
many of our company dancers.
