REGISTRATION NEWSLETTER

WELCOME TO ALL NEW AND CONTINUING STUDENTS!  Thanks for joining us. We look forward to working with you in our 34th season. The dance season runs ten months culminating with Showtime 2010 in late June. Be sure to get a copy of our studio calendar.

 

Please  take the opportunity to meet each of your student’s teachers during Fall PARENT WEEK –SEPTEMBER 28-OCTOBER 3RD

 

STUDENTS ARE AUTOMATICALLY REGISTERED AND TUITION IS DUE THROUGH JUNE 2010. Students who wish to withdraw from any classes must give two weeks’ written notice and be paid in full through that two week period.

 

Please read the studio  brochure and all newsletters that are  sent home each month by way of your student.  There are also copies on the studio bulletin board and our website. It is the responsibility of each student/parent to read brochure and be aware of all policies. and communications throughout the year!

 

If you have a change of address or phone number during the year, please let us know.

 

Payments may be made by VISA, MASTERCARD or check made payable to the dance studio. If you are using online billpay, put student name in memo. If paying by personal check, please understand  there is a $25.00 fee for  returned checks and payment must be replaced by cash or money order. TUITION IS ALWAYS DUE PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH. The tuition will automatically be increased by $20.00 ON the tenth day of the monthBe sure to enclose payment coupon and mail or hand deliver payment in a timely manner.

                                                                                     

This month there are openings in all levels of all courses; however, if there are not enough students of a particular level of a course, it could be canceled.  In addition to ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop for adults and children, we also offer acrobatics  and  musical theater  for children.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PLACEMENT OF STUDENTS IS TENTATIVE AT REGISTRATION AND SOME STUDENTS AND/OR CLASSES MAY BE SWITCHED. Advance scheduling is difficult, but we will do our best to accommodate all.  All class changes will be finalized in fall. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you are a new student and have a discount coupon of any type, please understand that it is good only at the time of registration - not later in the month.  Only one coupon is accepted per family.  ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED, REFER A NEW STUDENT TO OUR STUDIO BETWEEN NOW & THE END OF OCTOBER AND RECEIVE A $15.00 CREDIT TOWARD YOUR TUITION.

 

IF YOUR STUDENT HAS ANY ALLERGIES OR MEDICAL CONDITIONS, PLEASE MAKE US AWARE OF THEM AT REGISTRATION.

 

WE CAN ONLY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR STUDENTS DURING CLASS TIME.  Please make every effort to ensure your child is picked up as soon as their class is over.

 

During the year we stock dance shoes and a limited supply of dance accessories.  Be sure you purchase shoes through the studio so you have correct shoes.

 

WELCOME NEW TEACHERS!  In addition to our returning staff of teachers, we welcome to our staff DUSTIN CONLEY, MICHELLE KEPICK, & TERRI SILLER.  There is a separate sheet available with bios on all of our teachers and it is also on our website.  I hope you will get to know all of our teachers and assistants this year as you become part of our dance family.

Although it is not easy for teachers to speak with you between classes, they will be happy to phone you. Check our website chriscollinsdance.com regularly.  Each day a different student will be featured as the “Dancer of the Day.”  We also list student’s birthdays, have copies of newsletters, and update all studio information. There is a “Parent Yap” where parents can leave messages and a “Chatterbox” for students to leave messages.
