Victoria Olszowy

Choreographer/Instructor

Victoria began dancing at age 4 and hasn't stopped since. She started at CCDS, and joined their company at 6 years old. She studied all forms of dance, including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, acro, and more. Her favorite classes were Cecchetti, pointe, and acro! Victoria won multiple awards, overall titles, and scholarships throughout her time in the CCDS Company. She also passed all of her student Cecchetti exams, achieving her Advanced Professional Grade 7 certificate. Victoria was awarded Student of the Year in 2011, and went on to continue student and substitute teaching throughout the remainder of high school.

After graduation, Victoria went on to James Madison University and joined the JMU Dukettes Dance Team, where she was a part of 2 national championship titles. She also helped coach the team during the first year of her Masters program, when the Dukettes again won the national championship. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate education, Victoria continued teaching all styles of dance during summer and holiday breaks, and has remained a substitute teacher for CCDS. Victoria is now a licensed occupational therapist focused in pediatrics, and continues her love for dance through teaching. She is happy to be a regular at CCDS again!
