Jillian Rodriguez

Miss Jill began dancing at Chris Collins Dance Studio at age four and was named the 2000 Student of the Year. For six years, she was Mr. Chris's teaching assistant every Saturday. She competed from the age of seven and performed at both Disney World and Busch Gardens. She was also a featured dancer in productions of Hello Dolly! and Anything Goes as well as the choreographer for Bye Bye Birdie and Cabaret. Jill has a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Dance from Barnard College in New York City where she studied with Liz Pearlman and Margaret Morrison. She was a member of the Barnard Tap Ensemble and the Orchesis Dance Group where she also served as an executive board member and choreographer. She also continued teaching dance at the St. Francis Youth Center in the Bronx. After nearly a decade in NYC, Jill returned to the CCDS family in 2010 as a teacher and adult student for five years. Having spent the last three years as a CCDS parent, Jill is excited to make another return as a teacher and spend Saturday mornings once again with some energetic tappers and ballerinas!
